The Department is blessed with qualified and experienced academic staff of Lecturers teaching highly enthusiastic students, at both undergraduate and graduate levels, in a very conducive environment for studies and research.

Lecturers have research strength in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Economic Growth, Health Economics, International Trade, International Finance, Public Sector Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Energy Economics, Monetary Economics, Economics of Education, and Development Economics. Some Lecturers belong to accredited Professional Associations, both National and International.
